Disable Build Ltd provides building completion and finishing services including but not limited to:

  • Plastering and rendering
  • Painting and decorating
  • Tiling
  • Flooring installation
  • Carpentry finishing
  • Kitchen and bathroom finishing
  • Repairs and maintenance
  • General building completion

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information provided at the time and may be subject to change if the scope of work differs from what was originally discussed.

Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Any additional work requested beyond the original scope will be quoted separately.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be agreed upon before work commences and will be detailed in your contract or quotation. Typical payment arrangements may include:

  • A deposit before work begins (typically 20-30% of the total cost)
  • Stage payments for larger projects
  • Final payment upon satisfactory completion of work

We accept payment by bank transfer, card payment, and cash. Late payments may incur additional charges.

5. Work Schedule

We will provide an estimated start date and completion timeline for your project. While we make every effort to meet these timelines, delays may occur due to:

  • Unforeseen circumstances or site conditions
  • Weather conditions (for external work)
  • Material supply issues
  • Changes to the scope of work

We will keep you informed of any delays and work to minimise disruption.

6. Access and Site Conditions

You agree to provide reasonable access to the work site as required. You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • The work area is accessible and safe
  • Necessary permissions are in place (e.g., planning permission, party wall agreements)
  • Utilities are available as needed (water, electricity)

7. Materials

Unless otherwise agreed, we will supply all materials required for the work. Materials will be of good quality and fit for purpose. If you wish to supply your own materials, this must be agreed in advance and may affect warranty terms.

8. Warranty and Defects

We stand behind our workmanship and offer a warranty period on completed work. If any defects arise due to our workmanship within this period, we will rectify them at no additional cost.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by third parties or the customer
  • Issues arising from improper use or maintenance
  • Pre-existing conditions not disclosed before work commenced

9. Insurance

Disable Build Ltd maintains public liability insurance. Details of our insurance coverage are available upon request.

10. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking:

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before the start date: Full refund of any deposit paid
  • Cancellation within 7 days: Deposit may be retained to cover costs incurred
  • Cancellation after work has commenced: Payment for work completed and materials purchased

11. Complaints

We aim to provide excellent service and high-quality workmanship. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our work, please contact us immediately so we can address your concerns.

Complaints should be made in writing to Team@disablebuildltd.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it promptly.

12. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the value of the contract for the work in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.
